App Design

I create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks and clickable prototypes for mobile and web apps using the following tools: Google Docs, Draw.io, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and Illustrator. I am open to adapting to any tools your team is accustomed to using.

App Development

I contribute to code via Git, preferring to nip and tuck my interfaces’ HTML and CSS whenever possible. I am quick to pick up different syntaxes and learn to work within any codebase and dev stack with a reasonably short ramp up period.

My previous projects utilized HTML, HAML, CSS, SCSS, Less, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, Ionic, Foundation, Flexbox Grid, ReactJS and EJS.

Shopify Site Design & Implementation

I design and modify existing Shopify templates to achieve the desired visual result. If you need functionality changes, you’ll want to hire a developer to help you with that. My expertise is in creating visually appealing and responsive Shopify sites.

Website Design & Implementation

I design, code and help set up web-hosting for simple websites for companies of all sizes and have experience writing HTML and CSS, as well as using web platforms like Squarespace, Hubspot, Wordpress and Unbounce.

If you’re looking to grow your online presence, I recommend you work with an online marketing agency/freelancer to create a marketing strategy. I’ve got the skills to build your site, but they’ve got the know-how to bring you business.

UI Design

I design simple and intuitive user interfaces with appropriate information and visual hierarchy to help users achieve their goal effectively, bringing in touches of delight whenever possible.

I use the following tools to do my work: Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and Illustrator—I am happy to adapt to any tools your team is used to to help streamline the design-development process.

UX Design

I provide a range of UX design services such as persona development, customer journey maps, wireframing, user flows, on-boarding strategies, quantitative data requirements, qualitative research strategies, etc. I create cohesive brand experiences for all customer touchpoints to ensure a joyful customer experience through celebration and positive reinforcement to elevate your brand.

Brand Identity

I create logos and graphic standards to help keep your brand visuals on point. Of course I also create traditional print packages such as business cards, letterheads, envelopes etc. More importantly, I create brand guidelines and can guide you in creating your brand story so that all future brand related work can reflect your company’s values and adhere to a cohesive visual experience.

Illustration

I have a distinct style of illustration. My experience is that unless an artist’s style already matches what you have in mind for your project, you will likely be disappointed with the outcome. Choose an illustrator with a style that you think will connect with your audience.

Having said that, I create icons, graphics and simple animations that are cute, quirky, light-hearted and fun.

Self‑Promotional Materials

I make print‑ready files for business cards, retractable banners, t-shirts, stickers, buttons, pop-up tents etc. and work with any printers’ guidelines to make sure your self-promotional materials print magnificently.

Marketing & Sales Materials

I design brochures, booklets, flyers, print ads and sell sheets to help sell products and/or services. I will elevate your marketing content by providing appropriate visuals to help deliver your message in a clear and concise manner.

Presentations

I create presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Acrobat, Canva or Prezi. I can help elevate your message by providing appropriate visuals to make your points memorable and easy to absorb.

Email Templates

I design email templates that are simple to code and ensure optimal formatting to deliver your message effectively no matter what email client your customers uses to open their emails.

Online Ads

I create artwork for Facebook ads and Google ads to help achieve your online marketing goals. I recommend you work with a marketing agency/freelancer to help you develop your online marketing strategy if you don’t already have one. I create attention-grabbing visuals, but they help you monitor the ads’ performance and optimize your ad spends.
